Domain vs Hosting

Domain
A domain name is your site’s address (like example.com). It's purchased from a domain registrar.

Hosting
This is the server space that holds your site’s files and delivers them to users.

How They Work Together
The domain connects to the hosting server using DNS settings. Without hosting, a domain name does nothing.

Tip
You can buy domains and hosting separately or as a bundle.
